A new journey
God called Abram to leave his country for a land God would show him. Abram travelled with Sarai and their household. Later, God gave Abram the name Abraham.
One step at a time
They travelled through Canaan. Abram built altars and called on God. He did not know every turn of the road, but he kept going.
Look at the stars
Abram wondered about God’s promise of a family. God brought him outside and told him to look up at the stars. His descendants would be too many to count.
Learning to trust
Abram believed God. Trust did not mean that Abram could see the whole future. It meant taking God’s promise seriously while he waited.
